I have a need to copy the folders and messages out of Outlook and put them in
Windows Explorer. The problem is I need to maintain the folder structure
with the message that’s in Outlook? Then I try to drag a folder to my
desktop it creates a .xnk file. I want the folder, subfolders and messages
in the folders to be copied.

The ultimate goal is to put this information in SharePoint with the same
folder structure as what is in pst file.

Thanks

I wonder if this little tool will do the trick.

http://codewut.de/content/export-outlook-folder-filesystem-folder

I did some brief testing and it exported a couple of my folders fine.
It'll ignore any non-message object.

Further - http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/savefs.asp - there is even a
Sharepoint-specific tool there.

Let me know if this works.

can't copy Outlook folders to Windows folders, apples and oranges, you need
to create the folder structure in windows, then copy the messages, it turns
them into .msg files in windows
