Hiya,
Ive come across a very strange error recently, with outlook 2003.
Occasionally, when I hit new mail, Outlook steals and holds window focus, by
this I mean that no other window that you try and bring into focus, can
actually take focus. This applies to all types of window, be that existing or
new, including the new mail window that was requested.
The only way around this is to minimise Outlook itself, the error then
clears. This is occuring on 2 machines that I know of in the domain, one of
which is an office 2000 upgrade, the other is a fresh install of 2003. Both
machines are operating on XP SP1. There are no dialogue popups that I can see
that are causing this to happen.
Its a minor issue, and im sure that its probably occuring on more than these
2 machines (I am lucky in that most of my users just get on with it when
stuff like this happens, but these two users work in sales, need I say more?
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Iain
