Outlook "file://" problem when used with parameter

I want to use the "file:" syntax to create a link to an executable on a
local network. Works fine. But now I need to hand a parameter to the
executable. It looks like Outlook does not (want to) understand this. Tried
a few options but none works.
The link I want to create is "file://c:\test.exe param=1". Tried
<file://c:\test.exe param=1> , <file://c:\test.exe%20param=1> etc., but in
the (Oulook2002) client it won't work. Can't find any information about it
(just how to start an exe without parameters).

It works for <file://C:\test.exe param=1>

But your message format must be Plain Text then. Otherwhise just create a
normal hyperlink on e.g "click here"

I tried your solution but I won't work... It still looks as if all the
text after the "file://" is interpreted as the filename to start.
So.....
