Hi all,

I want to be able to share my outlook contacts with one other person so that
we can maintain a current list between us.
Is there any way of doing this with Outlook? Or if not is there any other
software we could use?
Exchange is not an option, it costs way too much, and is complete overkill
for sharing an address book.

Thanks.

I'm not sure about contacts but you can share an address by both point
to the same mailbox.pab file.

Outlook no longer uses a .PAB file for addresses. All contact information
is stored in the .PST file.

Here's the location of my personal address book:

C:\Documents and Settings\akersg\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\mailbox.PAB

I'm using Office XP Pro.

Then it's time for your copy of Outlook to join the 21st century ;-)
Seriously, Outlook hasn't formally used the .PAB format for a long
time...now all addresses are stored in the Contacts folder(s) and the
Outlook Address Book is a special view of those folders that is used when
addressing messages. You may want to look at the following page to see how
you can migrate your .PAB data to the Contacts folder:
