Outlook Fax services??

I seem to remember Office 2000 Premium (in Outlook) having some sort of
built in fax service. I am currently using Office XP on Windows XP and am
wondering if it too has a fax service. Now I know that Windows XP has a fax
service built in, but I recall that Outlook would actually assign you a
phone number.
Anybody know what I am talking about?
