I went on the MiroSoft website and selected the option to
have my PC scanned for any required updates. The system
found two related to Outlook Express, which I use. I
downloaded the files and tuned off my PC. The following
day my e-mail would not work. I called Road Runner, my
provider, and they helped me get my e-mail working by
changing the extension on the dbx files. However
my "Sent" folder went away and all the contents as well.
Fortunatly the "inbox" stayed and it's contents too. I
called Road runner back but they told me this is a MS
problem and they can't help me. I went on the MS website,
it was asked for the product number and that if the number
contains an OEM in it was installed by the PC
manyfacturer, "Quantex" in my case, and I would have to go
there for support. Quantex is out of business as I
understand. How can I get this problem fixed? Is there
some way to get support without paying a bunch of money?
Is there some way to get help from MicroSoft?
Thanks
