If you are checking your POP3 e-mail account in Outlook Express then you
would need to use the following steps on both computers:
1. Open Outlook Express and go to Tools -->Accounts.
2. Select the Mail tab.
3. Select your e-mail account and click on Properties.
4. Select the Advanced tab and check the "Leave a copy of messages on
server" check box.
5. Click Ok on the Properties window and then Close on the Accounts window.
This should resolve your issue. It will leave a copy of your messages on
the server so that when you download your messages on your laptop they will
also stay on the server so that you can download them on your desktop also.
