Outlook Express

I have been trying to uninstall and reinstall Outlook into my system and I
have been unsuccessful. I made the fatal mistake of attempting to send a
file over email and it froze everything. Now i have 3 messages in the outbox
and i have not been able to receive email all day since. Please help.

Do a search for *.dbx (make sure you have your folder options to show Hidden
& System files). When you find them, delete Outbox.dbx and then reopen
Outlook Express. A new outbox will get created and you will have to resend
any of the three messages you wanted to send.
 
Outlook? Or Outlook Express? You mention both. Either way, why
uninstall for messages in the Outbox? Clarify please.
