Help...ok I have a small problem ?
I lost my link to outlook express. When I go to the tools
menu tab in internet explorer then to "internet
options" "programs tab" then E-mail their is no more
outlook express so I had to make a shortcut on my desktop,
Since the read mail button does nothing. I tried most
everything. sfc /scannow, xp_run iesetup.vsb and
reinstalled XP over software. No luck ! Where can I find
IE6.0 full download on the internet ? Not the auto install
over my software to my computer. Can I get it off my XP
disk ? Also can I use Office 97 professional with XP home
edition with outlook express for spell check feature ?

P.S I also tried my system restore no luck. When I
installed Office 97Prof my spell check did not work and I
uninstalled reinstalled were I lost My "link" to read mail
and created new restore points that were no good. I which
the restore feature could backup a minimum of 30 restore
points or give the option.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/defaultl.htm

Go to Start | Run and type this command, with the double quotes and spaces:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

and then make sure that OE is selected as the default mail program in both
IE and OE.

If that isn't enough, see this article:
"Send To" and E-mail Links Do Not Work Using Outlook Express as Default:

You might also want to try this:

Restores OE to the E-mail clients list in Internet Options

To set Outlook 98, 2000 or 2002(XP) as the default mail client,- Go to
Start, Run - Type in the following with quotation marks and press OK
"C:\program files\microsoft office\office\outlook.exe" /checkclient
