An Outlook Express Identety password was lost. How would I go about
resetting it and regain access?
 
If you are talking about a password for a user's e-mail account, that's not
an Outlook Express issue. If you've lost the password, it must be reset by
the ISP as they control the account.
 
Thanks Mike but it is not the ISP password that I am concerned about. It is
the OE Identity "optional" password that is lost. Having lost this
password the OE identity cannot be accessed. The OE db files can be
imported into another identity and I have done that but I still want to
restore access to the initial identity.
 
Ah, okay, please take this to an Outlook Express newsgroup. Just hit the
newsgroup button on the OE toolbar, type Outlook Express in the search box
and press enter, you'll find a whole list of OE related newsgroups, toward
the bottom of that list you should find one that would be appropriate for
this question.
