outlook express

When I open "OE" I get a message saying" An unknown error
has occured" and a page opens showing always the hot mail
inbox of two weeks ago.When I open the "details" of the
error message,this is what I see:

Config:
Protocol:HTPP Mail
Port:0
Sedure{SSL}:0
Code:80004005

And now outlook express does not open at all,not from the
short cut or the programs list or from the start screen.
I downloaded "Internet Explorer" which is supposed to
contain OE hoping that might solve the problem but it did not.
I would appreciate any help.

The message is showing the port for HTPP email as 0. I believe that should
be 80, the same one used to browse web pages. May want to try rebuilding
the mail account under Tools> Accounts in OE.

Also, your protocol should be http instead of htpp.
