outlook express

yes this fits into hardware because I want to use outlook to browse the news
groups and I'm in hardware and want to browse easier if someone can answer
this question.Goto to tool bar open newsgroups and the subscribe/ search box
opens. The groups I want to browse that are over 15 or so characters are
truncated. This group is "microsoft.public.win.....". makes it tough to find
a group unless you do an exact search and if I knew exactly what group I
wouldn't be searching, I'd just type it in and add, anyways how do I get
more characters per line when I'm searching in this mode?

I don't think it is a hardware problem. You may get better response from the
"Miscellaneous" group.

If I understand you properly, you are in the newsgroup subscriptions window.
Just above the list is a bar with the Name and Description column titles. If
that is correct, then there should be a vertical line just to the left of
Description, click and drag that to the right and the full name should
appear. When you do that, the Description name moves out but a scroll bar
appears at the bottom of the list.

Well, no this doesn't fit into this group. Your problem has to do
with OE and has NOTHING to do with XP and related H/W problems.

Post in the correct group to get the correct help.
