Outlook Express

I am unable to delete an old email account set up in Outlook Express 2 ISPs/1
year ago, because we can't remember the password that was associated with it.
Outlook Express does not allow deletion or modification of an account
without the password being entered.

Because the screen name will remain the same with our new ISP, Outlook
Express won't let me setup the new account as there is one of the same name
already existing. But I can't delete nor modify the old one due to the
password problem.

How can I delete the old one without having to enter the old password?

remove simple file sharing then assign ownership to yourself for the file
then you will be able to delete it.

Rita,

Under Tools/Accounts/Mail - accounts can be removed. If you are speaking of
a password on an identity, remove it from here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities
