Outlook Express

Just installed and ran the program only to find it has
wiped out my Outlook Express mail settings. It now thinks
I have never had an e-mail program running and I have to
start from scratch. Used the restore function to get it
back but am concerned running the program again will keep
deleting Outlook Express and my mail

Any thoughts?

It has never affected the OE settings on any of my machines.

Or mine, I can't think what would be the problem and I uninstalled and
reinstalled, no change in OE
