I installed Windows XP. Outlook Express recieves my new
emails, but it wipes out all the text. I can't read
them. I can see who sent them, but not what was written.

Try:

Start > Run > "regsvr32 inetcomm.dll" (without the quotes) [enter]

Post back to this thread if solution no good or not permanent.

It only worked temporarily. Once I rebooted the problem
returned.

Thanks for helping.

Check out the Outlook Express NG:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

(That's an underlined underscore where the blank appears),

and look for replies by Bruce Hagen.

Just in case, I'll plagiarise:

If the problem re-occurs, do the fix again and download and run CWShredder.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

And then do the regsvr32 fix again.

It only worked temporarily. Once I rebooted the problem
returned.

Thanks for helping.
