When I launch Outlook Express, it disconnects my dial-up
session. Then I have to reconnect. I want to be able to
open and close Outlook Express without losing my
connection. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks.

Hi Bev,

Follow the steps in the Resolution section of the following Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article and see if that solves the problem.

KB277983 - OLEXP: Outlook Express Disconnects Your Current Connection
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=277983

And if it does not I suggest that you post to an Outlook Express newsgroup. Your
message header seems to indicate that you are posting from the Microsoft Communities
Web Page. I am not certain what version of Outlook Express you are running, though,
so I can't provide a direct link.

Below you will find a link to the main Microsoft Communities Internet Explorer &
Outlook Express Newsgroups Web Page. Start there, then in left-side pane click on
the link for your version of Internet Explorer, then click on the Outlook Express
newsgroup link.
