My friend's computer got all messed up and we had to call Dell. After
different attempts to correct the problem, the tech had us reinstall XP Home
Edition. The XP disk formatted drive C and had what we thought was a easy
and perfect re-install. However, his Outlook express can receive mail but
cannot send mail. He gets an error message stating could not connect to
server. We have talked to his ISP (Comcast cable), verified the server
settings (POP3, incoming mail and outgoing mail, but to no avail. Anyone
have any ideas about this?
