Outlook express will send but not receive email

I've set up my new outlook at work. I can send emails, but not receive for
some reason. Any sugjestions?

Outlook, part of MS office, or Outlook EXPRESS?
the two are totally different programs, despite the similar name.
 
Outlook Express in the subject line, but Outlook in the body.
Since both apps are completely differnt which is you are using?
And if its Outlook, what version and what type of connection?
