outlook express toolbar problem

Help! I use Outlook Express and I lost the reply/send.etc
toolbar on emails that I open. I have the toolbar on the
main page so I have no problems when composing an email.
But when I open an email that toolbar is no longer there.
I did the normal checks such as going to View, toolbars,
customize, add and all that stuff. Nothing helps there.
Also checked to make sure the toolbar was not "comdensed:
by putting the curser inbetween the menu bar and the email
header, then trying to strech it open. Does anyone have
any idea what happened? This has happened to me on two
different computers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
