i had most of my programs installed after formatting my HD then noticed that
when i start Outlook Express v6 from Win XP Pro. A blue screen titled Outlook
Express with litle information on it comes up and pauses for a long time (no
HD activity) then all of a sudden OE opens up. Early on in my installation,
OE opened instantly. I restored to several previous points and it still
takes a lont time to open.

PLese HELP !

Had a similar (but different...) issue for a while with OE.
Similarity: a long time to open, and more particularly, to close when
reading the newsgroups. I don't use it as an e-mail client, so I'm not sure
if it will actually apply to your case.
Resolution was to find the Corrupted .dbx folder which was hanging the
entire shebang.

Difference: No Blue screen deal.

The definitive OE help site (there are other great ones to though, but this
is kind of the "bible" of OE sites). Maybe you'll find something specific
here.

There are OE wizards in this ie6 newsgroup, but you might also try this link
below if you get nothing definitive here.
