Outlook Express takes MINUTES to load & open!!!

On a 450Mhz Pentium with 256K of RAM, XP Home takes more
than a minute to load OE 6.00.2800.1123, even when the
only other thing running with it is IE6.0. This seems to
be the ONLY slow-loading program. Why is IT so slow
loading?

Your 450 MHz processor is a bottleneck. If your computer is old enough to
have that processor, it also has slow RAM, a slow video subsystem and a slow
hard drive.

.
Thanks, Tom, but as we said just above, OE is the ONLY
program so slow to load and open! Why just OE?

Open Outlook Express and from its Toolbar select:
Tools > Options. Under the "General tab", uncheck
"Automatically logon on to Windows Messenger",
then click on "Apply".
