Outlook Express suddenly won't launch

J

JFD

Outlook Express running from Internet Explorer 6, with
latest SPs on older Pentium running Windows 98

Error messages now occuring: "OE could not start, out of
memory?" (praphrased) error 0x8007000E.

Computer is loaded up, but I still usually have 90 MB
free.

When I click OK on this message, folowing message
occurs: "MSOE.DLL could not be initialized"

I've re-downloaded IE 6 plus latest SPs, but no help.

Sure hate to loose all my inbox and addresses. Ideas?

Hello,

Paraphrasing an error message is a very very very bad idea...

I think your *.dbx files are set to read-only. Have a look at

OLEXP: Err Msg: "This Program Has Performed an Illegal Operation and Will Be
Shut Down"
