My windows XP outlook Express does not have spellchecker. I have installed
Word but do not see the spellchecker in Outlook Express.

What version of word are you using?

Outlook Express requires a 32 bit Spell Checker Which is not Provided by
Works 7
Resolution: Install any Suite of Office Office 97, 2000, XP or 2003
there are certain versions of Works which have a 32 bit Spell
viz.,Works 5,6,2002 & Works Suite 2004( note This Is not Works 2004)
Note: Works 7 Works 2003 and Works 2004 do not have a 32 bit Spell checker

"Bother," said Pooh as he struggled with the computer.

"It never does quite what I want."

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Huh? What kind of spell checker do those versions of Works have, if not a 32
bit?

There is a problem with office 97 putting the spell check files in a
different location than OE is looking - the fix is to move them -
http://www.insideoe.com should have the information, if not a search using a
favorite search engine for 'outlook express spell check office 97' should do
it.
