Outlook Express Security Update

Today I received from Automatic Updates the option to download "Cumulative
Security Update for Outlook Express for Windows XP (KB923694)."

Since I use Outlook, not Outlook Express, why (or why not) should I download
this update?

I am running Outlook 2000 SP-3, in Windows XP Professional, Version 2002,
Sevice Pack 2.

You have OE installed whether you use it or not (it's part of IE), so I'd
patch it. OE and Outlook actually do share some components, under the
surface. I'd just go for it.
