SUBJECT:Outlook Express: Questions I do not know how to answer

Hi There,
I have a Windows XP Media Center PC. I know how to write an E-mail in
the Outlook Express. When I want to send it, the PC asks me questions
like
"Who is your host?",
"What is your account?",
"Who is your server?",
which make me baffled.
My Questions To You:-
Where on my PC can I find all these details? Where on my PC do I type
these details?Or, do I have to go to a Website on the Internet to get
these details?
I shall be very much obliged is some good-hearted expert can inform me.
Looking forward,
Regards,
Urban

The only place they'd be on your computer would be in a welcome message from
your ISP. In other words - they're not on your PC probably. Contact your ISP
(Internet Service Provider - in some cases web hosting company if you have
your own web site with a top level domain and a hosting plan) and they'll
help you along with that.

this is information that your ISP should provide.
either on the documents you received when you signed up or on their web site.

I never get ANY questions before sending an email. Check with your ISP. They
are the source for your problem.

Not necessary, increases the need to scroll, and just adds to the bandwidth
clutter. Who I was replying to should be obvious, and what he/she said
should be obvious as well.

Not at all. Why should it? I, like many others in a high volume group do
NOT keep all messages in view. It's impossible to give problems the time
they deserve if you do that.

Again, PLEASE have a look here:

if you READ the links, you will see WHY you should quote.

Don't be so damned arrogant.

Just like when selecting a car to buy, not all have the same opinion. Yours
differs from mine in this case, and in my opinion I am the one who is
correct. ;>)

By the way, cussing doesn't make you very credible (in my opinion, of
course).

Have a nice day.

No, you are in a VERY SMALL minority of arrogant, blinkered newsgroup
posters.

99.9% of newsgroup posters adhere to the Usenet custom of quoting. Those
who do not, usually get very short shrift.
