Since I upgraded 2 years ago to XP, whenever someone from AOL sends me an email with an attachment, when I open it up, it comes through blank.
I've verified with my AV program to allow it to accecpt attachments with the .eml extension that aol uses.
I've disabled my firewall's program that blocks or controls email.
Is there anything I've overlooked? Can someone help me figure this out?
Thanks in advance.

Attachments from AOL users may be layered as many times as it has
been forwarded. When you open an attachment and only see a blank
page, keep putting the cursor on the text in the attachment line /
Right click / Open. Keep doing this and you'll eventually get to the
original attachment and be able to view it.

You can also highlight the message header and press Ctrl & F3 to just
read the text of the message.

Thanks alot Bruce......it worked! But what a hassle! I had to click "open"
on the message line about 15 times! I don't understand it cause I know that
doesn't happen to aol users. I guess aol just sucks! lol
Thanks again!

I know the feeling. I have a few friends and relatives that subscribe
to AOL. When I get messages from them that they have forwarded I just
delete them. I don't even bother trying to read the message or
attachments, I simply find it frustrating to have to open multiple
messages to see what they intended for me to see.
