Outlook express question

We recently downloaded outlook express on our mac and we
can send messages but when we recieve message we get an
error message that says "The Server for account davidmacg
returned the error "box locked". Your user name/password
or security settings may be incorrect. would you like to
try re-entering your password. We have gone over these
settings over and over and it is set up exactly like our
PC and it still keeps happening. The Mac is using
operating system 9 and 10.

Very Frustrated!!!
