Outlook Express Problem

hi can anyone help me with an issue I have with OE 6?
I wanna format but keep my Oe Folders. Now I know how to
save them... But to put them back I have no clue. I save
them in a dbx format no prob. but when I say put them
back into the directory after I format, they don't show
up? Can anyone help?
