I have dealt with Dell for over a week with no resolution
to this problem. When looking at my e-mail on the screen
the letter size is "12 point". When I print the e-mail
the printout shows "22 point" size letters. I have
changed printers and it is not in printer. I still get
the oversized letters.

What to Do?????

( I am a novice so "be easy" with your suggestions.)

Outlook Express uses Internet Explorer settings for printing. To control
the OE message body print size:

IE4: 'View|Fonts'
IE5 and IE6: 'View|Text Size'
For margins: 'File|Page Setup'

While in your email program (I'm using Outlook 2003) go
to File>Page Setup. You should see radio buttons for
font selection and font size. Verify that the font size
is at either 10 or 12.

I hope it's that simple but can't believe Dell Tech
Support didn't suggest your looking at page setup as the
first step.

That only changes what I am looking at on the screen. The
print is still "gargantuous". Thanks, though.
