Outlook Express - PC crashes

Whenever I want to attach a file to an e-mail and open the attach file
dialog box in outlook express - nearly every time my pc freezes - the screen
freezes and the resolution often goes haywirs - seems like teh graphic card
is affected and then my pc crashes and reboots.

I don't seem to have any viruses per virus software - and this only seems to
happen in outllok express when attaching files to an e-mail.

Any ideas ........it's driving me nuts!!!!
