Outlook Express Outgoing Mail

I want to delete some outgoing mail that's in the
outgoing mail box and when I highlight it and hit delete,
it will not delete. Help.

Go to File - Check: Work offline.
Go to the Outbox and delete the message.
Return to working online.

If that doesn't work, there is another solution, but it will delete
everything in the Outbox unless you can move it first. Let us know.
