I've got 2 pc's networked together and they share a broadband internet
connection. Outlook Express is installed on them both but I'd like them to
share the inbox/mail folders so that all emails are available on either PC -
at the moment, an email is only present on whichever PC downloads it.

any advice appreciated as I can't see anything relevant in the help files.

Hi,

Too dangerous, you need a program that supports doing this. It can be done,
but one mistake and the mail store is destroyed beyond repair. Use Outlook
or another program that is designed for this.

To do it, essentially you place the mail store folder on a driver/location
accessible by all systems. Open OE on each system, one at a time, click
tools/options/maintenance/store folder, use the browse option to select this
folder. Repeat on each machine that you want to use this common access
folder. If more than one machine at a time attempts to access this common
store point, the mail files will be destroyed beyond any hope of recovery,
so be careful that the user closes OE using file/"close and logoff identity"
each and every time.
