Hello,

I am running Office 2000 premium. I can only use Outlook
Express for e-mail, Microsoft Outlook is installed on my
machine. When I click send, a new window pops up that
appears to be a new e-mail. However, I can not find a send
button. This button shows up in the upper left hand corner
of Outlook Express.

How can I make Microsoft Outlook my default e-mail
service.

Thanks in advance,

mike

First, make sure you have at least one valid e-mail account set up in
Outlook 2000 (the Send button won't appear if you don't). Then go to
Control Panel | Internet Options, click the Programs tab, and make sure
Outlook (not Outlook Express) is listed as your default mail program there.
Once you've gotten it working, delete your mail accounts from Outlook
Express so you can't accidentally download mail there by mistake.

What if I don't get Outlook as an option? Just Hotmail, MSN, Outlook Express or Yahoo.
