I'm trying to move my mail from OE on XP to Win Mail on Vista...nothing is
working. Can anyone guide me?

Pay particular attention to the red in step 5. Mine duplicated the folder
and wouldn't let me change it. I had to create a duplicate folder under the
actual folder, move the files there, and then it worked.

For Example:

I copied my wifes .dbxs to the \Documents\Janet sub-folder. I pointed the
import there and it returned a dialog saying it would import from
\Documents\Janet\Janet. It wouldn't work and wouldn't let me change the
dialog. So I created another Janet folder inside the original Janet folder,
copied the files there, tried again pointing it to the original Janet
folder, it made the same path error but since the files were really in the
new folder, it imported them.

I wonder why I put it in red?

Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! This worked like a charm!

Wonder if you might know of a fix for the next problem...
I have folders in my address book in OE. I.E...Work contacts, Personal, My
daughters etc.... When I transfered the address book, the addresses
transfered but not the folders; it just lumped every thing together. Do you
know of anyway to get it to transfer "AS IS" so that the contacts stay in the
appropriate folders?

Thanks again.

Thanks Art for the reminder.

No, I'm sorry. I don't know much about the Contacts situation, except
others have reported it seems to be screwed up in ways you describe.
