outlook express messages are grouped by sender

All of the sudden all my messages, new and old are grouped by sender. There
is a "+" next to the senders name and I have to click on it to see my new
messages. I would prefer to have no grouping at all because it makes it
difficult to see my new messages.

Does anyone know how to make it so that outlook express just displays my
messages ungrouped, in order of the time and date received?

They'll still be grouped, but by date. See the "Sent" column header bar?
Click there, and the list will sort newest to oldest. CLick again, it will
sort oldest to newest. Take your pick.

You can when needed sort by any of the column headers the same way.

You might also want to uncheck View/Current View/Group by Conversation in
the mail views.
