Outlook Express - Insert

In OE6 I have always been able to 'INSERT/PICTURE' which would allow me to
browse and find the .gif file I wanted to open and insert into the body of
the email. I can still do that and it looks fine. But, as soon as I "send"
it the image is wiped out and the email reformatted without it. I can see
this when it is in my Sent Box and also if I send it to myself there is no
"picture file" or even a locator for one. I have been doing this for years
but now all of a sudden this problem. Suggestions. Thank you.
