My old email address is not longer valid. I have checked every menu item
highlighted but nothing relates to my email address. :(

Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3138

An OE group would probably be more helpful. But I have OE6 and this is
what I would do to change the email address, etc.:

Click Tools, Accounts, Mail tab, highlight an account nae, click
Properties. Change names, servers, etc., there.

It's also possible you have a signature file attached that needs to be
edited.

Open OE, tools menu, Accounts, and choose an email account. You will see a
checkbox to 'include this account...'. This determines which accounts are
checked for mail. You set the default mail app in add/remove, "set program
access and defaults'.

Not the signature, but the "tools->accounts->NEWS->properties" did the
trick. I found the old one and changed it. I guess it may take a few minutes
for the server to update. Thanks Elmo! (say hi to bert and ernie :)

It was the email address shown in newsgroups. I didn't make that clear. I
use a browser to read my email.

Also, I want to apologize for asking an OE question on an XP ng... I didn't
see the XP until Elmo pointed that fact out. I thought this was a generic
"anything windows" ng. Sorry, and THANKS! :)
