Hello, I would like to know how to put (bring over) all of my email accounts,
messages and all my different local folders from Outlook Express into Windows
mail on my new laptop. I also have some newsgroups I subscribe to. My
outlook express is on my old computer( desktop) running XP Pro. I don't know
if that makes a difference but I thought I would include that info.

Thanks for your help in advance

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. The export from outlook express creates an
iaf file which doesn't seem to be importable into microsoft outlook 2007.

Did you already get any reply on your problem? I think that would be a great
help.

Thx,

Wendy

You can use the Windows Easy Transfer applet that is on your Vista
computer: All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Windows Easy Transfer.

How can your problem be "exactly the same" when the originator
was moving mail to Windows Mail and you are moving mail to
Outlook?

If you used Outlook Express on the old computer, see

The IAF file is created by exporting an account. It contains the setup for
the account. You want to use File | Export | Messages.

Great
thanks
