Hi people,

I am a committee member of a social club. I'd like to be able to set up OE
remotely on my committee peers with peer 'groups' for e-mails to "all".

I am aware that changes may be made to OE by clients running a .reg file
(many ISPs use this for non-computer savvy people to set up their e-mail
with one click) and wondered if a correct .reg script would do the job that
I require.

Thanks!

Jim

Unfortunately, MS chose to prohibit default access to OE via activeX. There
is an option to "Import" an address book's entries into another address
book.

start/run, type WAB, File menu, Import.

There are cheap third party apps that can do it.
NKTWAB 1.0.0 Download - NKTWAB is an ActiveX object to access WAB ...:

Running a remote script written in VBScript should be able to do your task
with this component

If I'm correctly understanding what you want to do, you may find it
much easier to provide a free listserv or listservs, using the
facilities at yahoogroups.com or something similar.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for your reply. This is a good idea that i shall look at.

Best wishes,

Jim
