Outlook express-email

When I have internet explorer open I used to be able to click on the upper
right hand side of the screen in the little mail icon and outlook would open.
Now when I click on it nothing happens. The only way to get to my email now
is to click on the bottom left hand side, start and scroll up to email. Has a
setting been changed?

What is the part of your email address beyond the @ please?
Who is your ISP?

This newsgroup is for Windows Mail in Vista.

If that is what you are really asking about then, go to Default Programs,
either in the Start menu or in Control Panel and ensure that WM & IE have
all their defaults set.

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express for your email?
This forum deals with the Windows Mail program only.

You should always state version numbers of the software and operating
system you are using, e.g.:-

Internet Explorer 8
Windows Vista SP2

In internet explorer, right click on a vacant area next to or above
the tabs.

If "Command bar" is not ticked then click on it to put a tick there.

If you cannot see the email icon in the command bar that appears,
then:-

Right click again and select:-

Customise - Add or Remove Commands

Look for "Read Mail" in the left hand pane.

Click on "Add" and it should appear in the right hand pane.

Click on "Close"

You should now be able to see the email icon in the command bar.
