C:\Documents and Settings\accountname\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{F3CAF9B3-4D81-4227-906F-EDF19123533E}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

And then all then files in there simply burn to cd and then restore to the
folder after i have rebuilt?

Genie backup manager pro is pretty good, unfortunatley its shareware(30 day
limit)
If you wiping, put the files it creates onto a cd with a copy of the
program, so u can restore them at any time with-out worrying about time
limits.

That should work except for your email address book. I just used the
COPY/PASTE function for the dbx files. For the address book, Bring up your
addresses, Go to FILE, EXPORT, ADDRESS BOOK, Select where you want the WAB
file stored, give it a name and save it to your choice. You can later
import the WAB file using Addresses.

I use a way that seems simple to me.

1. Go to the 'Options' option in the 'Tools' menu
2. Find and choose the 'Maintenance' tab and then click on the 'Store
Folder' button
3. Copy this path name from the window into Start>Run on your task bar
4. Your mail storage folder will open and display all your folders, inboxes
etc
5. Copy and paste these directories to another location before backing them
up.

I have a little script running that copies the files in this directory
everytime I turn my machine on. Of course if I reformat my machine and
re-install everything I have to look for the directory again and change the
script, but it does keep my e-mail backed up to a seperate drive.

Hope this helps,

Best wishes
