Outlook Express - AOL

I have just upgraded to XP Home edition and now when setting up my Outlook
for my AOL email account it won't remember my password. I can type in my
password and read all the emails, but I can't send any email. I have
followed all the instructions I can find step by step several times and still
no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
