Outlook Express and viewing images since SP2

Since I installed SP2 when I try to view picture images in Outlook Express
it never appears in the body of the message. One has always to click on the
paper clip to see the picture. This is troublesome when you are trying to
save several pictures. I have checked Outlook Express and the "do not allow
attachments is not checked". It appears all the settings are the same as
before installing SP2.
Also I am not able to open popup windows from chat windows. The popup
blocker is not on but it still prevents popups that were working fine before
the installation.
The only way I have found a way to correct this problem was to uninstall the
SP2 from the computer. The strange thing is that I also have SP2 installed
on my laptop with the same internet and popup settings and they work
correctly. Thanks for any ideas you have to correct these problems.

More on the Outlook Express issue...try going
to...Tools / Options / Read tab...uncheck...
"Read All Messages In Plain Text"...Apply / OK.

Be aware that this lowers your security...
not only for e-mail but also for newsgroups.

Maybe the following will address the pop-ups:

On an IE screen...if you go to...Tools / Internet
Options / Privacy tab...is "Block pop-ups"
unchecked?
