outlook express and google mail

I've just bought a new Dell computer and signed up to Hotmail and Google Mail but cannot access them through Outlook Express. Does anyone know either why it says I need to subscibe to Hotmail to do this or asks for a POP3 address for Google Mail? Where do I find the POP3 and SMPT address for Google Mail?

For Gmail that is easy ...

... just run the auto-configuration tool.


For Hotmail ... err, delete it.

ok OK, well try Hotmail for a simular solution to the one Gmail uses.
