I've paid the twenty bucks for the hotmail plus, and how do I add new
hotmail accounts to Outlook Express?

How about going to "tools-accounts-add" possibly? Didn't look very far, did
we?

Last night when I wrote the message, I was tired from grapling wit
Outlook Express for two hours.

I tried everything I could think of and still kept getting the sam
message over and over "Hotmail no longer allows e mail access vi
Outlook Express for free e mail accounts."

I paid for it starting a year ago to get access to the chat rooms bu
this is the first time I've tried to add new addresses to Outloo
Express.
I know it's not the fault of anyone here but Microsoft won't talk to m
for less than $35.00. My real issue is with Microsoft but maybe someon
here can help.

I have an idea that hotmail no longer allows access to user's accounts via OE or other 3rd party software.
I could be wrong.

That only applies to the free accounts. Paid accounts have access through
OE....

Oh, and before somebody else clarifies further, that is only for NEW FREE
accounts after a certain date... I forget the date, but if you signed up
BEFORE that cut-off date, you can still access your account through OE as
well...

How long ago did you pay for the upgrade? You should prolly contact
microsoft about it. Arent there instructions within your settings menu
or something? Personally, I think you should just switch to gmail. it
has fee pop forwarding.

If you have purchased premium Hotmail, the obvious site for a setup tutorial
would be the MSN/Hotmail Home Page.
