I imported my Address Book to Outlook Express and for
some reason (god knows why) in the Contacts Area under
the Folders column (which is on the left of Outlook
Express) it says "There are no contacts to display. Click
on Contacts to create a new contact".

Even if I click on Addresses on Toolbar at the top, it
doesn't display any of my contacts. BUT!, if click on
Addresses and then click on Find People and type in
anyone's name, email, etc., and click Find Now, only THEN
will I be able to see my contacts.

So basically, if I want to see all of the people in my
Address Book, this is what I've got to do (which is
really frustrating):
1. Click on Addresses
2. Click on Find People
3. In the E-mail box, type '.' (only one dot, not the
quotation marks)

THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT
I'VE ENTERED IN MY ADDRESS BOOK.

Now, can anybody please please PLEASE help me unhide the
contacts in my address book ASAP. I really need help on
this. I didn't do anything when this happened. I was just
adding someone from my Address Book to the e-mail I was
typing, and after I added the person, everyone in my
Contacts Area just DISAPPEARED! I really really REALLY
need someone to help me as I do send a LOT of e-mails
daily. Thank you very much for your kind attention
towards this matter.

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program, despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
Outlook Express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x
microsoft.public.internet.outlookexpress.mac for OE for Macintosh

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/

Any other ideas about where we might find OE groups? They are not on
msnews.microsoft.com server today.
