Outlook Express 6

trying to import a .dbx file and keep getting the
message "the specified message store could not be opened.
It may be in use by Outlook Express." My .dbx file is in
a folder on my harddrive not in it's original location as
per the instruction. Any suggestion or solutions would be
greatly appreciated
