Outlook Express 6

OE 6 is slow to start up on my HP pavilion zv5000 laptop whether on line or
off, dialup or broadband. It takes about 70 seconds; previously it took a
mere blink. Operating Windows XP. Once up OE 6 operates perfectly. This has
baffled local experts. Any ideas please?

If you ask in an OE discussion group, you're much more likely to get useful
help. This group is for .NET programming issues.

To find the group you need...

As you appear to be using a web interface, try this:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In the Windows
subcategory, find and open the Outlook Explorer subcategory, and
find a group there for your post.
