Outlook Express 6

This application has dissapeared from my computer completely. I have tried
all kinds of searches across entire hard drive and specific folders but
cannot find the exe (or any other part of the programme). Any suggestions?

Try going back to a restore point prior to the disappearance. If that
doesn't work, you should get further assistance in an appropriate forum for
OE. Here's how to find it:

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Windows.
In Windows, find and open the Outlook Express category. There, you'll find
a group for your question.
