Outlook Express 6

I am using Microsoft Outlook Express 6 to read my emails. Is there a way to
set up an "away message" or "vacation message?" If so, please explain.

Thank you.

For Outlook Express support, you'll want to ask in the
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general newsgroup, but you may want to look
at your ISP for this type of functionality, as anything in OE would require
that your computer remain up and running and connected to the internet for
the duration of time you want the auto-reply to be running.

Since you're also using the web based newsreader rather than outlook
express, you might want to use
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...px?dg=microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
(or, since you're using Outlook Express for mail, look at the steps in
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/community/columns/newsgroups101.mspx for
how to set up OE to use the microsoft newsgroup server).
